Five City Commissioners are elected by citizens to serve four-year, alternating terms. Elections are conducted every two years.

Informal Study Sessions
Informal study sessions are often held prior to commission meetings for the purpose of exchanging information among Board members, city staff and the citizens of Goodlettsville on matters of importance to the City.  These are open to the public.  Study sessions typically begin at 5:00 p.m. or 5:30 p.m.  Exact times will be shown in the "Public Notices/Study Session Items" below.
