Bob & Patricia Moore and Fenway
|
History The initial phase of Fenway's Park was the idea of local resident Patricia Moore. Patricia, along with her husband Bob Moore, funded the construction of the initial phase of Fenway's Park themselves. The park is named in honor of their long-time family pet, Fenway, whom recently passed away at the age of nine after a courageous 15-month battle with cancer.
Patricia's love for animals and her desire and passion to see a dog park constructed in Goodlettsville was the driving force in this project coming to fruition.
Future Plans Fenway's Park was designed in order to allow for easy expansion. There is currently property set aside for the expansion of the site and would allow for Fenway's Park to grow to five times its current size. Individuals and/or businesses wishing to make a monetary contribution for the expansion may do so by contacting the Parks and Recreation Department. |
