Historic Mansker's Station

Mansker's Station begins its annual winter shutdown on Monday, December 4, 2017 and will reopen to the public for tours on Monday, March 5, 2018.

Historic Mansker's Station consists of a reproduction 1779 log station and the Bowen Plantation House, said to be the longest standing brick structure in Middle Tennessee.

Tours of both sites are conducted Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 4:30pm.  During the tour, costumed interpreters allow visitors to experience both life on the frontier and life on a plantation.  Tours are self paced and typically last around an hour.  We pride ourselves on a hands on educational approach that we apply to visitors of all ages.

School group tours are offered from March until December.  More information can be found here.  We tie these tours to current state approved curriculum.
